A Unique Achievement for Crewkerne Company Sleabridge Ltd.

Advanced machining company Sleabridge Ltd of Crewkerne, have received notification of the successful accreditation of an integrated three-part management system covering:

ISO 9001: Quality Management System,
ISO 14001: Environmental Management System
OHSAS 18001:   Occupational Health and Safety Assessment System.

Consultants from Southern Management Services Ltd who undertook the implementation believe that Sleabridge are the first to have "gone down the integrated route".

Sleabridge's Managing Director Barry Luke believes that:

"It is logical for a small company to keep the systems as simple as possible and have one system which covers all business and legal requirements. Compliance with all these standards gives customers confidence in our approach and our ability to handle their business".

The training content of this 15 month undertaking has been supported through the Somerset Skills Support Project with activities being co-ordinated by the Somerset & Dorset Manufacturing Network.
